We’re big fans of Dave Child and his cheatsheet collection in our office. Almost all my staff members have one or more laminated copies and they really help. All except for my link building team who were feeling a little left out. So it seemed the perfect format to create a search engine query cheatsheet for them to stick on the wall.
I’ve decided to give these away in case other people find them useful (well, all 10 of my readers anyway heh). Hardly ground breaking stuff but I have also included some of Rand’s excellent link building queries on there. Working in the Russian market we also have a version on the cheatsheet which covers the engines here (Yandex/Rambler).
Feel free to download below (and point out any errors or improvements).

Thanks Nick very useful. This will save me time from going into my favorites and finding a link to this. Printed out and laminated the old school way.

No problem David, glad you found it useful. The Yandex query commands are amazing, I’m still getting my head round half of them.

Awesome stuff. Though damn you … link building was on my cheat sheet to-do list ;)

Might be worth adding “site:site.com *** -view” if you can, by the way - for supplemental results.

Ok, I’ll stop leaving unhelpful comments after this - it occurs to me it’s not that much use having the supplemental query on a link building cheat sheet. My excuse is that it’s late and I get all flustered when flattered.

Heh that’s ok Dave, the praise is well earned. You’ll be pleased to know there are quite a few Russians using your sheets now :D If you ever want them translated give me a shout !
