From my own experience, accessible sites are also kinder on the dumbest, simplest user out there – the search engine spider. As a marketing consultant, which I know most of you are, these techniques are valuable additions to your skillset. PAS 78: A guide to good practice in commissioning accessible websites’ is for those responsible for commissioning or maintaining public-facing websites and web-based services.
If you are looking for a primer on the subject then I would strongly recommend this powerpoint presentation on web site accessibility by Andy Budd.
