Yes I wouldn&#039;t use both methods together, you will create a loop most likely. If you&#039;re already using the Feedburner plugin then stick with that. 

The reason I gave people the &#039;manual&#039; method is in case they are using another platform. Or they are dealing with a copy of WordPress that has been modified to remove all the footprints (i.e. all the wp- file prefixes have been removed).</description>

And will those redirects of yours make the Feeburner Feedgrabber try to grab itself? Because whenever he tries to grab your feed you redirect him just like an ordinary user.</description>
